Adam Harrison, the son of Rick Harrison, creator of the reality series Pawn Stars, has died from an overdose at the age of 39. The exact details of his death, including when and where it occurred and the substance involved, remain unclear. The police have initiated an investigation.

"Our family is hugely saddened by the death of Adam. We ask for privacy as we process the loss," the Harrison family said in a statement to TMZ. "You will always be in my heart! I love you, Adam," added his father Rick on Instagram.

Adam was the second child of Rick Harrison and his ex-wife Kim, and the younger brother of Corey Harrison.

The Harrison family is well-known for the long-running TV show Pawn Stars. The program, now in its 21st season, follows the family running the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop on the outskirts of Las Vegas. Rick and his father, who passed away in 2018, opened the shop in 1989.
